New Appointments 2021

Wardle is delighted to announce a series of new appointments across our Melbourne and Sydney studios. In a year of both challenge and success, they reflect the achievements of key team members and acknowledge two exciting additions to our growing team.

Rick Jordan, a valued member of our communications team becomes Associate.

Rick's contributions to the practice include not only his expertise in graphic design across our branding and submissions, but also his creative flair and initiative in producing work over print, photography and film.

Sam Clegg and Megan Darbyshire become Associate Principals.

Sam Clegg offers an extraordinary attention to detail to every project. His expertise in laboratory and learning spaces sees him working across many of our educational projects including Learning & Teaching Building, Geelong College Junior School and currently the Willis Street building at the University of Tasmania.

Megan Darbyshire has demonstrated exemplary project leadership and client management skills during her involvement in the Bendigo Law Courts project. Megan has extensive working knowledge of complex courts buildings and opportunities for innovation, and she has become a trusted advisor in this sector.

Yee Jien and Kah-Fai Lee become Principals.

Yee Jien has expertly directed some of our largest projects such as the Learning & Teaching Building and the Victorian Heart Hospital both located at Monash University’s Clayton Campus. Yee’s role will broaden to provide a high level of support to all project leaders and project directors and will be responsible for developing our delivery strategy across all projects.

Kah-Fai Lee is an exceptional leader and exemplifies great skill and care in managing client relationships and stakeholder engagement, recently on the Ian Potter Southbank Centre and Bendigo Law Courts. A strategic mind, Kah-Fai is also involved in our tender process for new work and is a regular speaker and participant at industry events.

We welcome Emily Kilvington and Sally Davis as Associate Principals.

Emily Kilvington joins our Melbourne studio, bringing with her a wealth of experience in the design and delivery of large public projects and masterplans. Emily’s strategic work includes Melbourne and Olympic Parks, the Melbourne Showgrounds and the Melbourne Arts Centre.

Sally Davis is an important addition to our Sydney studio and leadership team, with experience gained from directing her own Adelaide practice Davis + Davis Architects.
