New Appointments 2024

The growth of this group of staff during recent years has been highly rewarding and an exciting future is anticipated. Each has invested significant time within and beyond the practice and we’re delighted to recognise the impact of their endeavours.

Congratulations to these outstanding Wardle team members who have been appointed as Associates – Nicola Bowman, Tom Proctor and Mitch Walker. We also applaud Will Rogers for stepping into the role of Senior Technical Design Leader. Wardle acknowledges the outstanding contributions each has made in the course of their work, both to projects and the cultural life within the studio.

 

Nicola Bowman, Associate

An accomplished all-rounder, Nicola has been managing projects since she joined Wardle, in Melbourne - Belerren, The Geelong College Gym and now in Sydney with Bourke & Bowden.  Nicola is a strong design problem solver and collaborator. She has an innate ability to understand a wider context whilst attuned to detail, allowing her to align good design to with project imperatives. Her consistent and rigorous project leadership is widely valued.

Tom Proctor, Associate

Tom brings a clear and intuitive vision to his work and has been a driving force behind Wardle’s recent efforts in applying digital design tools practice wide. Adept at traversing the design process through concept stages, Tom’s pragmatic approach to collaborating is held in high regard by colleagues and clients alike. Projects contributions include Wuhan Villas in China, Blacktown City Council Offices, and Berrbang House in Melbourne.

Mitch Walker, Associate

A dedicated project leader, Mitch is highly versatile and invested in his work. He has a been a key team member on several of Wardle’s high profile and complex projects including Victorian Heart Hospital, Bendigo Law Courts, Wuhan Villas in China and Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT). Mitch is a natural leader who energises his team to achieve outstanding results. His personable and collaborative approach allow him to effortlessly switch from discussing design solutions with clients to working through technical details with consultants.

Will Rogers, Senior Technical Design Leader

Will is a strong connector of people and ideas his immersion in a project is absolute and outcomes are more successful for it. Will’s ability to undertake considered analysis and interrogation of design solutions using modelling, parametric design and visualisation while balancing industry standards and design intent is significant. Currently Will’s managing a significant education project in Melbourne, he was also instrumental in the delivery of Bendigo Law Courts.
