First Sydney Partner

Signalling the practice’s continuing growth and evolution, Wardle has appointed Jasmin Williamson as its first partner outside Melbourne.

Originally from Sydney, Jasmin joined Wardle Melbourne in 2006 and began her career working on large scale projects including Melbourne School of Design for University of Melbourne, Monash University Caulfield Library, and the 500 Bourke Street redevelopment. She returned to her hometown in 2018 to establish Wardle’s Sydney presence and became a principal of the practice in 2020.

Partner Meaghan Dwyer described Williamson as an exceptional addition to Wardle’s broadening partner group, which welcomed James Loder and Mathew van Kooy in 2020.

“Jasmin’s experience and expertise are tremendous assets. She infuses great enthusiasm and optimism through our Sydney studio and leads with an emphatic sense of curiosity. She continually uncovers unexpected and complementary outcomes – both in project work and business strategy,” Meaghan said.

Jasmin’s appointment comes as the Sydney studio moves into its new premises at 477 Pitt Street, an adaptive reuse development in Haymarket which Jasmin has also overseen as project director.
