The tower’s overall form acknowledges the scale of nearby existing buildings, like the original Hilton hotel, before extending above to create a strong visual landmark on the city skyline. It recognises different height datums within the city. A matrix of sunshades that read as individual petals wrap the tower, with gradients in colour and density to suit solar orientation and urban context.

150 Elizabeth, in Brisbane, connects the historic city with the contemporary, and brings landscape to the foreground of the new flexible cultures of work. Upon arrival, sub-tropical planting is immediately evident and immersive.
