The Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT) serves the community through resolving a diverse array of disputes spanning planning, guardianship and human rights, consumer, building and property, and commercial leases. With a commitment to prompt, cost-effective and efficient dispute resolution, VCAT is embarking on a strategic endeavour to centralise and relocate its CBD headquarters to a state-of-the-art facility designed by Wardle.

For this contemporary and flexible workspace, the human centred design will cater to the needs of the judiciary, members, and staff, with collaborative and productive spaces that integrate VCAT's technological advancements, and which are adaptable to operational changes. Notably, enhanced security measures at entry points will ensure the safety and well-being of all users.

Pivotal to promoting a calm and soothing atmosphere, the warm, neutral interiors palette is carried by natural materials and organic textures. The thoughtful selection of materials extends beyond aesthetics, profoundly impacting the sensory experience and psychological well-being of building users.


These spaces will readily convey safety, and foster a peaceful influence on occupants.
