Above the in-situ podium, the hotel is delivered as a fully volumetric modular structure— responds directly to the site’s extreme topography, seismic conditions. Fully fitted room pods are manufactured off-site and craned into place atop seismic isolation plates, creating two distinct modular towers connected by a lightweight bridge.
Bronze aluminium cladding and a tiled in-situ concrete podium with punched glazing above and heavy landscaping across multiple levels allows the building to recede into the topography. The façades incorporate vertical elements that balance rhythm and texture that reference Queenstown’s historic architecture.
